Economy
The future of ALTEN MU is one of solidarity. Community financing structures and an economy of sharing are key goals that we want to see realised at this location in the future. No individual profit maximization, but an economy for the benefit of the general public. But how does this work?
A few questions that we ask ourselves: What could an alternative / solidarity-based form of economy look like in the ALTEN MU? Can pay-as-you-go financing guarantee living and working space for all? And what about the much-cited heritable building right? Has anyone calculated this for 99 years and compared it with privately financed housing construction?
These questions represent only a part of what could be dealt with in the development planning for the ALTE MU. Much freer approaches can also be tested in the C20. How about a (local) basic income? Crowdsourcing and crowdfunding? Everything is welcome!
Whether cooperatives, coop's, general theory, circular economy, sustainable finance, social entrepreneurship or sharing economy, we need creative thinkers for a sustainable economy. Use C20 and shape your own utopia of economic transformation. The world will thank you, and so will ALTE MU!
